My name is Martijn van Wijngaarden, student in Hydraulic Engineering. The international scope of the studies on Hydraulic Engerineering ask for early international experience even during the studies, and that is the main reason why I join this project.

Although the Netherlands with its areas below sealevel remains the home for gaining knowledge on Hydraulic Engineering, the largest challenge is to help the other parts of the world improving their flood defences and keep them save as well!
